truSculpt iD is a non-invasive, monopolar radiofrequency body contouring or body sculpting technology that is proven to reduce an average of 24% of fat in patients. Monopolar radiofrequency is known to destroy fat cells deep in the subcutaneous layer. truSculpt iD is a safe body contouring treatment that is FDA-approved. Even though you may experience tenderness, redness, or bruising after treatment, these will go away quickly without leaving any damage to your skin.
Most adult men and women regardless of skin type, amount of fat and location of fat would be able to undergo the procedure. However, the best candidates would be healthy, active adults with realistic expectations who are not looking to lose weight, but rather to reduce stubborn, moderate-sized pockets of fats.
The duration of the procedure will depend on the size and number of treatment areas. One truSculpt iD treatment cycle using up to 6 applicators takes about 15 minutes.
truSculpt iD treatments typically feel like a hot stone massage. During treatment, the temperature of the skin will rise but it remains comfortable.
The treatment areas may be warm and flushed for less than an hour after treatment. You may also experience mild sensitivity to touch for a few days, but you’ll be able to resume normal activities straight away.
1 to 2 sessions of truSculpt iD are usually needed to see results. However, the results do not appear immediately as it takes about 1-3 months for the destroyed fat cells to leave the body. Depending on your ideal body size and how much fat you have, you may have to return for follow-up sessions to maintain your results from truSculpt iD.
