SPECTRA XT SINGAPORE

How does Spectra XT work?

Spectra XT uses lasers to rejuvenate the skin and reduce pore size, reduce the appearance of acne and acne scars, and smoothen out fine lines and wrinkles. It uses a combination of high peak power and short pulse width to destroy pigment with minimal thermal damage.

There are 3 different laser wavelengths :

  1. “Gold Toning” with 595 nm – treats erythema and acne.
  2. “RuVY Touch” with 660 nm (RuVY stands for “Ruby-like Versatile YAG”) – treats pigmentation while  minimising inflammation and side effects.
  3. “Revital Treatment” with 1064 nm quasi-long pulse – rejuvenates and tightens the skin, reduces pores by promoting collagen remodelling.

What conditions can Spectra XT treat?

Pigmentation

Spectra XT has a nano-second short pulse duration capable of strong fragmentation of melanin  and thus enhances clearance of pigments. With smaller pigments, you will need higher peak power which can be done with reduced pulse duration for a safer photo-mechanical effect.

After treatment, the body carries out a natural process called phagocytosis where the leftover debris is cleared from the treatment area.
