How does Sofwave work?
Sofwave uses Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam SUPERB™ Technology that is FDA-approved for lifting the brow, jawline and neck, capable of diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. It generates heat at the right depth of 1.5mm in the mid-dermis, and the treatment stimulates a healing response that generates collagen and leads to the reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
There is an additional integrated cooling mechanism called SofCool that will protect the uppermost skin layer from burning during the treatment.
The treatment is a quick and easy one, taking only about 45-60 minutes for the full face and neck region. Results can be seen immediately after the treatment, but the collagen regeneration process can take up to 3 months so there will be ongoing improvements during that time.

Ultrasound energy has been safely used in the medical field for more than 30 years. Sofwave has a strong safety profile and no adverse events were reported in studies. The cooling system integrated into Sofcool is able to protect the upper layer of skin from heat energy, hence enhancing its safety.
A good candidate for Sofwave is anyone with mild to moderate skin laxity. Those with fine lines and wrinkles are potential candidates too.
The duration of one Sofwave treatment is about 45-60 minutes for the full face and neck region.
There may be a warm sensation on the skin because of the ultrasound energy, which can be lessened with a topical anaesthetic cream applied before the treatment.
There is no downtime with Sofwave and there are no special aftercare instructions. You may resume your normal lifestyle with no disruptions.
Most patients will only need one treatment but some people may show better results with more treatment. Depending on the face condition, different people will respond differently to the treatment.
