What is Rejuran?

Rejuran is made up of polynucleotides (PN) which are DNA fragments extracted and purified from salmon fish. Salmon DNA has excellent biocompatibility with human skin without triggering any immune response, so it is suitable for most people.

Polynucleotides are able to repair damaged skin cells and stimulate collagen production. PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a subtype of PN. Rejuran consists of PN, which therefore also includes PDRN.

Rejuran is also known in mandarin as 婴儿针 or baby skin injection. It is a skin injectable used for anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation. Rejuran is able to activate skin cell growth and improve skin elasticity and hydration to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. By repairing damaged skin structures, it is able to help reduce the appearance of scars.

What are the different types of Rejuran?

Rejuran comes in 3 forms:

  1. Rejuran Healer for full face rejuvenation
  2. Rejuran S for scar treatments
  3. Rejuran I for under-eye rejuvenation

Besides hydration, you will also see firmer, brighter and softer skin after Rejuran treatments. For best results, you may wish to combine both Skinboosters and Rejuran.

Is there any downtime for Rejuran Healer?

Downtime for Rejuran Healer is minimal due to the small needle used. Patients may experience slight bumpiness of the skin right after treatment but this will subside within 1-2 days. There may be minimal redness over manual injection sites which subsides within a day.

How is the Rejuran treatment done in Singapore?

Topical numbing cream will first be applied to ensure a comfortable procedure. Oral painkillers may also be given sometimes for better pain management.

Rejuran Healer is then injected into the dermis layer either by an injector gun or by manual injections with a very small needle. The manual injection technique is preferred for less pain and downtime. The procedure is fast and can be performed in 15 minutes.

How many treatments do I need for Rejuran Healer?

Each Rejuran Healer treatment uses 1 syringe or 2ml of Rejuran Healer for a full face treatment. 3-4 treatment sessions are recommended, spaced about 3-4 weeks apart. For maintenance, a single treatment should be repeated every 6-9 months.

When will I see results from Rejuran Healer Injections?
