What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an injectable skin treatment that contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) on the market. It is specially formulated for those whose skin lacks hydration and elasticity.
HA is hydrophilic so it attracts and holds the water together in the body, acting as a hydrator. This is great news for those with dry or dull-looking skin.
Profhilo is composed of a hybrid of H-HA and L-HA, different molecular weights of HA that give it a synergistic effect. The high molecular weight H-HA protects the skin’s integrity and enables lifting while the low molecular weight L-HA hydrates the skin with its hydrophilic properties.

How is the Profhilo treatment done in Singapore?
For face treatment using Profhilo, a total of 10 injection points will be needed (5 on each side of the face). Compared to other skinbooster treatments that require more than 30 injection points, Profhilo only needs very few injection points, reducing pain or the risk of bruising.
Numbing cream will be provided to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Then, Profhilo is injected just below the skin’s surface. After injection, the Profhilo disperses quickly to improve hydration without any lumps or nodules.
There will be 2-3 treatment sessions spaced 1 month apart. Maintenance sessions should be carried out every 6 months.
When will I see results from Profhilo treatment?
The effect of Profhilo takes place within 3-5 days of treatment, and over the next few weeks, the collagen and elastin production is enhanced and there is a secondary skin tightening effect. The maximum effect is seen 2 months after treatment and results of Profhilo lasts up to 6 months.
